Nipa continue to build on the classic EDC folding knife named Kletten. A slightly bigger version with hand sanded curly birch wooden handle, durable and made to be used. As the only folder in the Helle line-up, Nipa comes with a detachable clip.
This mid-size folder comes with a Scandi grind 12C27 blade, popping sharp right out of the box.
The handle size is just enough to fit a four finger grip for medium size hands, and with the well-proportioned handle it will make a comfortable knife to wear around camp or on daily adventures.

Beautiful. Practical. Outstanding.
I am fortunate to have several outstanding knives from some of the world's best makers... My Helle Nipa is a wonderful expression of the art of knifemaking.... Wood & Metal, Design and Manufacture come together.... It's a wonderful thing, and possibly the last knife I will buy.... because this is perfect. If you haven't already and you can afford it, .... buy one!

Excellent compact folding knife combines beauty and function
I opened the package, and immediately found beautiful grain pattern of curly birch handle attracted me. The handle fits my finger and palm as if it was custom-made one. The size is compact, and it is easy to handle for me.
I believe the knife will refine my outdoor life.

Northern Territory
The destruction I’ve put these knives through in the Northern Territory of Canada is outrageous. Weeks and weeks of wild living which a knife is as important as shelter. These knives stay the course.
